Here is a card and an altered gift bag that I made for my DD's friend. They were both born on July 26th and his mom and I bonded in the hospital . I had quite a fun time making something for a boy as I don't normally get the chance. I used my new clockworks cuttlebug folder for the base of the card. It matches so well with the Robotz cuts. Thanks for looking : )

Birthday Party Invitations
My DD is turning one on the 26th!! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. We are having a party for her and her little friends next weekend. I have been procrastinating the finishing of her invitations since I made the sample one over a month ago. I think it's because I am a little sad about her upcoming birthday which may seem a little strange, but she is my first. Can anyone else relate? I think I just want her to stay a baby for ever : ) I finally finished the invitations along with matching envelopes this morning and it didn't take very long as I had the design already done. The ice cream cone is from Stretch Your Imagination and the It's a Party form Zooballoo. I also used the Happy Birthday and D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug folders. I will be posting some of the decorations that I am making as well, they are going to be so cute! Thanks for looking.
Coat Hook Nametags
I used Plantain School Book's end cap feature to make these name tags for my students coat hooks. So much easier than gluing on each individual letter!!
Welcome Cards
I will be going back to work in September (eep!) after a year of maternity leave. I teach first grade and I like to send a little welcome letter for the parents before classes start. This year I decided to also send a little welcome card for the students. Our classroom theme will be 'Forest Friends' so I chose the cute little owl from Create a Critter. I only have 16 students this year so it didn't take too long. They are all the same except for the buttons. I will have a bunch more projects that I am making for my classroom coming up soon :)

Mailbox Sign
We have just recently moved to a new house and I must say that I was completely surprised at the number of flyers we could be delivered in such a small town! My hubby works in environmental protection and we are trying to set an example for our DD. I created this sign for our mailbox this morning. I used Give a Hoot for the trees and the Zooballo font. I think it turned out so cute! Thanks for looking :)

Sunny Days
This was a fun layout for me. I used stamps on cardstock squares to create a checkerboard background mat for my photos. I really like the effect, especially the pink flower stamp on pink paper. I used Walk in my Garden for the flowers and layered them each 6 times. The title is from Create a Critter.
MPS Colour Challenge
I designed this page for the My Pink Stamper colour challenge. The colours we were to use were: orange, pink, green and brown. Now pink, green and brown is one of my favourite colour combos, but orange, I rarely use. I just love this pic of my DD and hubby and had been wanting to use it for a while but just wasn't sure how. Not sure how I feel about the layout, I feel like it's missing something but just not sure what. I do really love the cute sleeping fox from the Give a Hoot cart though, just adorable!
